God exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
The Father as Creator of all and personally holds each one of us in
his hand. Ephesians 4:5,6 One Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
The Son as Jesus Christ, the sinless one who through his death and resurrection redeemed us from the penalty of sin.
Mark 16:6 Don't be alarmed, he said. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the
place where they laid him. Luke 1:68 Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come and has redeemed his people.
The Holy Spirit, the comforter who enables us to live a godly life Acts 5:32 We are witnesses of these things, and so is the
Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
The Bible is the true Word of God and the sole basis of all preaching and teaching for the daily living of all people.
2 Timothy 3:15-17 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Meaningful worship brings people into the presence of God.
John 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.
Prayer is essential in the lives of individuals and in our church
Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
God reveals himself to each one of his people through prayer, Bible study, and worship.
1 Corinthians 2:8-11 as it is written: No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him. God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
We hold that reformed theology, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the creeds of the Reformed Church in America http://www.rca.org/aboutus/beliefs/ should be taught to and understood by our congregation.
2 Thessalonians 2:13-17 But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter. May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

Truth and integrity are indispensable in all relationships.
Proverbs 12:22The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in men who are truthful.
Loving, caring, and forgiving relationships lead to opportunities for using our resources to build up and support those in need.
James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
Corinthians 12:28 And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues.
It is our responsibility as Christians to share Jesus with everyone as our talents allow.
2 Thessalonians 3:1 Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you.
Stewardship recognizes that all we have on earth is a gift from God to be used to glorify Him.
Luke 21:1-4 As he looked up, Jesus saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. "I tell you the truth," he said, "this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on."
The church is the extension of the family which is the God-given gift of raising children so they will grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ and come to accept Him as Lord and Savior.
Ephesians 3:14,15 For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name.
1 Timothy 5:8 If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever
1 Timothy 3:4-5 He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him with proper respect. If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God's church?
1 Timothy 5:4 But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God.
